Dr. Mobina Tahur

Public Health Specialist

Dr. Mobina Tahur holds both MBBS and MPH degrees and has extensive experience in public health and nutrition, particularly in the garments sector and slum populations.

Her expertise includes developing and implementing public health programs to enhance the health and well-being of communities, conducting research and collecting data on public health issues, analyzing health data to identify disease trends and patterns, and designing and implementing interventions to prevent and control the spread of infectious diseases.

She also provides clinical care and treatment to patients with complex health problems related to nutrition and other health issues. In addition to her broad range of experiences, Dr. Tahur conducts regular health checkups for female garment workers to facilitate early detection of health problems.

Throughout her career, she has worked with various organizations, including Unity through Population Services (UTPS), a project under Dhaka City Corporation, Narimoutri and Dhaka Ahsania Mission. Currently She is Working at Medical College for Women & Hospital and a consultant of DSGS.
