Mohammed Rashed Mahmud is an experienced Electrical Engineer with over 22 years of expertise in electrical drawing & design, solar design installation, solar irrigation and solar home system.
He has consultant of Kyocera Japan for exploring marketing & sales in Bangladesh. Formally he was a trainer to the NGO's electrical supervisors & sales marketing for IDCOL solar project. Mr. Rashed has worked as a project in-charge for designing, installation, implementation, and monitoring solar PV systems.
He was the project leader for conducting survey for proposed 200MW solar power plant at Teknaf for Sun Edition and an Electrical pole survey to convert solar street lights in 33 wards of Mymensingh city Corporation.
He has completed several projects, including the system design, installation of Solar PV Systems for REB and the power supply of BTS/Repeater/Microwave equipment of Grameen Phone.
Mr. Rashed has also designed a 100Kwatt mini-grid solar system in Sawndip Chittagong in 2010 and a 364 kwatt solar diesel hybrid system in Dhaka EPZ YKK Bangladesh factory in 2015. He has extensive experience in designing PV powered pumps for an irrigation project and implementing solar street lighting systems.
Mr. Rashed has participated in several national and international professional training programs and workshops in Japan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Nepal, and India throughout his career.
